Unisys to deliver single-point-of-contact service desk, managed desktop, onsite and DC services to support 6,000 Nutreco employees in 29 countries

BLUE BELL, Pa., Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that its Dutch subsidiary has won a contract from Nutreco to provide worldwide end-user and data center support services.

Nutreco, a new Unisys client, is a global leader in the production of animal nutrition and fish feed.

Under the terms of the contract, Unisys will provide Nutreco with a single-point-of-contact (SPOC) service desk to respond to end-users' IT service requests on-site, online, via telephone or through self-help tools. Four of Unisys' global managed services centers – in Budapest, Bogota, Sao Paulo and Shanghai – will deliver the uniform support.

Unisys service representatives will provide support for 6,000 Nutreco employees in 14 languages: Czech; English; French; German; Indonesian; Italian; Japanese; Mandarin; Polish; Portuguese; Russian; Spanish; Turkish and Vietnamese.

In addition, Unisys will provide on-site services for more than 180 locations in 29 countries.¹ Unisys will also deliver managed data center and disaster recovery services for more than 900 servers housed at Unisys facilities in the United Kingdom and United States and at Nutreco sites around the globe.

"Nutreco requires consistent IT support services worldwide so our employees can stay continually productive in taking our new products to market, serving our customers and growing our business," said Henry Van de Ven, Director IT, Nutreco.
