Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Tekelec Wins Bronze for "Most Innovative Company of the Year" From Best in Biz Awards
New Diameter Network Vision Nets Fourth Award of November

MORRISVILLE, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/12 -- Tekelec has been named a bronze winner in the "Most Innovative Company of the Year (Large)" category for the Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts. The award is the fourth Tekelec received in November.

Tekelec was recognized for its vision of monetizing mobile network signaling traffic with its New Diameter Network architecture. The New Diameter Network is comprised of control elements -- policy servers, charging systems, subscriber databases, gateways, and session and mobility management equipment -- that rely on the Diameter protocol to exchange network, subscriber, policy, and charging information.

In November Tekelec also received the following awards:

"The New Diameter Network represents the first stage in mobile operators' evolution to software-defined networks," said Doug Suriano, CTO of Tekelec. "The end game is a self-organizing, self-optimizing, and self-determining network that will allow operators to become digital lifestyle providers and extend their value to dozens of new vertical markets."

More than 400 entries were judged by an independent panel of 32 judges from top-tier news, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms. Judges come from prestigious entities such as ABC, BusinessWeek, Computerworld, Entrepreneur, Financial Times, Forbes, FOX News, The News and Observer, PC Magazine, USA Today and ZDNet.

Best in Biz Awards 2012 honors were presented in more than 50 categories, including Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Executive of the Year and Best New Product of the Year.
