Regal Beloit Corporation Announces Pricing Of Common Stock Offering

BELOIT, Wis., Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Regal Beloit Corporation (NYSE:RBC) announced today that it priced a public offering of 2,750,000 shares of common stock at a price of $67.00 per share to the public.  Regal Beloit has granted the underwriters in the offering an option to purchase up to 412,500 additional shares of common stock at the same price per share to cover any over-allotments.  The public offering of the shares is expected to close on December 18, 2012.

Assuming no exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option, Regal Beloit expects to receive net proceeds from the offering of approximately $176.3 million after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated expenses of the offering. Regal Beloit will use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate and working capital purposes, including the potential funding of future acquisitions.

Robert W. Baird & Co.
