PubMatic Announces Partnership with MobStac

PubMatic (www.pubmatic.com), the digital media platform company for publishers, today announced a partnership with MobStac, a mobile platform that allows publishers to easily create and manage mobile websites and apps across all devices. MobStac will be offered as a service through PubMatic’s PubLink enterprise app marketplace.

“The MobStac solution linked with our monetization solution creates an end-to-end mobile platform where a PubMatic publisher can create, monetize and analyze performance of a mobile app. It’s a complete mobile solution,” says VP of Mobile Bob Walczak. “Publishers are challenged with keeping up with the fragmentation of content consumption with so many different mobile formats. MobStac is a simple, easy, seamless way for a PubMatic publisher to create a mobile enabled site on any device and operating system with no direct technical integration involved.”

“Publishers understand that there is a rapid shift happening towards mobile content consumption and are looking for an effective solution to address the needs of their mobile audiences. Through this partnership, MobStac will not only help PubMatic publishers create optimized mobile websites and apps across devices seamlessly using our cloud platform, but also effectively monetize them through the same PubMatic solution they have been using,” says Sharat Potharaju, Co-Founder and CEO of MobStac.

PubMatic’s MobStac integration is part of an ongoing series of mobile innovations that support the growth of this channel. “Mobile is our fastest growing area of monetization for our publisher clients,” says President Kirk McDonald. “Between Q1 and Q3 of this year the number of paid mobile impressions increased 700%. We acquired MobiPrimo, a mobile development technology firm, back in March. We hired Bob Walczak, a mobile ad pioneer in May. We are supporting the growth of mobile advertising with market leading innovations like an MRAID SDK, support for device detection for advanced mobile targeting and an iPad app called MyReports that gives C-suite executives access to on-the-go monetization information.”

PubMatic’s MobStac partnership comes during a period of dramatic growth in terms of product development and international expansion for the business. The company recently announced the launch of its newest data center in Singapore. Additionally, in November, PubMatic was ranked the Fastest Growing Online Advertising Company in the US Internet Sector, 20th Fastest Overall in North America, on Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500™.
