wassem wrote: Hi Tom I liked your article, you covered all the benefits of the thin client computing. In the article you mentioned the low power benefit, and mentioned the HP computer, as low cost solution, but I think that our product the Cubox that Costs 120$ and needs only 3 Watt of power could be another excellent solution.

Xigo Announces Support for Four New Languages

Xigo, Dimension Data’s wholly owned telecommunications expense management (TEM) solutions company, today announced that its full-service fixed and mobile expense management solution, Xigo Enterprise, is now globalized to support foreign languages, including double-byte character sets used in many languages of East Asia. In addition to English, Xigo Enterprise now supports Spanish, German, Japanese and UK English, giving it the ability to manage communications expenses with a much wider global reach. Dimension Data | Xigo is Safe Harbor certified—a streamlined process for US companies to comply with the EU Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of personal data.

Today’s economic landscape is comprised of global organizations that demand multi-language support in order to optimize their spending, especially as they expand and grow into new regions. With more than 200 international providers and 170 currencies supported, Xigo captures all of an organization’s billing, inventory and usage data in a single cloud-based platform, providing a unified view of all voice, data and mobile expenses. With Xigo, customers can view all of their global expenses normalized to the desired country or currency, which are updated on a daily basis to improve analysis accuracy.

“With droves of tablets and newly structured data plans entering the mobility landscape -- and by extension the enterprise, IT administrators have the need to closely monitor global mobility expenses from a single vantage point,” said Dave Spofford, CEO, Dimension Data | Xigo. “The combination of Xigo’s technical expertise with Dimension Data’s global reach has enabled customers in the 51 countries across five continents where Dimension Data has a footprint to see an immediate benefit.”

Xigo’s cloud-based fixed and mobile expense management solutions save businesses time, improve efficiency and optimize spending by providing insight into how staff are using communications resources. By quickly analyzing the data and returning recommendations, companies can improve the bottom-line in real-time. The solution enables organizations to easily set different mobility policies for different user bases within the same company—allowing executives to use more data than junior staff, for example. Xigo’s unified platform can also accommodate any increase (or decrease) in your telecommunications needs, without re-training or data loss.

Xigo, a Dimension Data company, reduces and controls mobile, fixed and global telecommunications costs for organizations of all sizes.
