Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Connectria Teams with Citrix® To Deliver Software as a Service on a Hosted Platform

Connectria Hosting, a global managed and cloud hosting provider, today announced its alliance with Citrix® to provide Software as a Service (SaaS) enablement in a hosted cloud.

The alliance addresses the increasing demand of business users to have complete access to company software at any time, on any device, for as long as they need it.

Most Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) recognize the benefits associated with moving to Software as a Service, however may be uncertain as to how they may overcome the challenges of implementing this new model.

Connectria, leveraging Citrix and Microsoft product, has a proven track record of enabling a smooth, cost-effective transition. Given Connectria’s experience in delivering SaaS solutions through its hosting services, ISVs do not have to be experts to enjoy its benefits. Connectria’s certified engineers will guide its customers through the process.

According to Scott Azzolina, Connectria’s Vice President of Marketing, “Connectria eliminates the complexity of architecting, implementing and managing infrastructure on your own. ISVs can focus upon what they do best, which is developing and marketing software, while companies can enjoy a level of flexibility and productivity that’s aligned with evolving work dynamics.”

To demonstrate the ease and success of SaaS enabling applications in a hosted Cloud, Connectria offers a low risk, low cost pilot. With Connectria’s QuickStart Program, Connectria will stand up ISV applications in a 5 user, fully functioning Citrix and Microsoft environment for 90 days. “Many of Connectria’s production customers had initially taken advantage of our QuickStart program,” noted Azzolina. “It allowed them to experience the value of our solution without having to make a commitment. Today, over 5000 Citrix users leverage Connectria’s hosting services and this business continues to grow. ”

You may also join Connectria, Citrix and Microsoft in a December 12, 2012 webinar, “Easily Move Your Apps to a Hosted Cloud.” For attending the webinar, you will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE QuickStart Pilot Program. Learn more about the webinar or Register now.

Connectria is a member of Citrix Service Provider network, a Citrix Value Added Reseller and a Microsoft Gold Partner and has provided Citrix SaaS hosting and Windows SaaS hosting for customers of all sizes.
