ITEXPO Miami Conference Program Designed Around Communication Technology Trends and Community

TMC today released an updated conference program for their ITEXPO Miami 2013, the world’s largest and best-attended communications and technology conference and trade show. The event, held January 30 – February 1, 2013 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida, combines an innovative series of educational programming with networking opportunities for technology buyers, sellers, resellers and manufacturers.

Since its launch in 1999, ITEXPO has been the bi-annual meeting place where next-generation communications innovations are on display, and vendors meet end users to develop new relationships and business partnerships.

The program is anchored by noteworthy keynote presentations from Telefónica and Level3 Communications, panels on the future of cloud computing, the evolution of the telecom service provider, and StartupCamp7: Comms Edition, a networking and early stage startup event. Numerous networking opportunities are offered throughout ITEXPO Miami’s three-day event, including multiple receptions and an ITEXPO party on Thursday, January 31, beachside at the Official Show Hotel – The Loews Miami Beach.

Session programming encompasses four main tracks: CUSTOMER Interaction, Enterprise Solutions, Mobility and Service Provider Solutions. These informative programs include:

  • CUSTOMER Interaction: sessions devoted to customer experience and engagement, using social media to increase ROI, maintaining quality consistency for remote workforces, contact center strategies, big data and using gamification to drive behavior.
  • Enterprise Solutions: programming focused on Microsoft Lync, SBCs, differentiating hosted/cloud/on-premises solutions, achieving and maintaining high quality-of-service, VoIP, cloud economics, performance management, video, business continuity/disaster recovery and desktop communications.
  • Mobility: sessions highlighting BYOD, BYOI, security trends and directions, next-generation mobility challenges, 4G expectations, voice-enabled apps and mobile UC.
  • Service Provider Solutions: programming on managed services, revenue generation from UC&C, next-generation CSPs, cloud options, big data, software-defined networking and small cells.

Your ITEXPO conference registration also includes access to sessions within the collocated Asterisk World and Cloud4SMB programs. In Asterisk World, discover how Asterisk, the world's most widely used open source telephony software, can save you money and empower you to create more flexible telephony solutions. Cloud4SMB focuses on the unique needs and challenges of small and medium businesses (SMBs) seeking to leverage the benefits of cloud computing solutions.

“The 2013 ITEXPO Miami will be one of our most important events to date, thanks to the expertise of our keynoters, and session presenters. With so many exciting new innovations addressing the needs of enterprise, SMB and service provider markets, the ideas and solutions attendees discover at the conference help them make smart buying decisions on the expo floor,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and ITEXPO conference chairman. “We’re expecting more than 7,000 attendees at ITEXPO Miami this year, representing all sectors of the Communications industry. These attendees will gain insight on new strategies and solutions, share their own best practices and forge profitable relationships that will bring additional value to their business and customers.”
