Telarix Delivers its Award Winning iXTools Products to the Cloud in New 'Software as a Service' Model, Announces EcoSystem Partnership Program

VIENNA, Va., Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Telarix announced today the "Software as a Service" (SaaS) version of its award winning iXTools technology available in both a public and private cloud model. Telarix is offering a SaaS solution, allowing carriers of all sizes to advance organizational processes by delivering its broad range of business applications through the cloud including billing and revenue assurance.

This SaaS offering eliminates additional redundancy requirements and costly data storage in multiple points of presence by offering a carrier class managed service SaaS application. Service providers can now leverage Telarix's award winning technology to optimize their interconnect operations, solving the complex internal and external challenges without traditional capital outlay or additional IT resource support expenses. This flexibility provides a faster time-to-market implementation, enabling service providers to quickly and easily reduce costs and increase profitability across their interconnect business.

Additionally in this cloud model, Telarix also announced a partner program to support the rollout of the SaaS solution. The first of these EcoSystem partners have been certified to support its ever-growing customer base.

The SaaS offering and EcoSystem Partnerships are being integrated with both Telarix's iXTools platform and its iXLink® rate and billing management solution, which provides a secure, reliable business-to-business information exchange platform that enables communication service providers to automate business processes as well as quickly and efficiently access and share business documents among their trading partners. iXLink facilitates the information exchange between trading partners using industry standard e-commerce technology and is deployed on the same extensive, highly available and scalable cloud platform.

"With the convenience of an entire suite of carrier service products from rate and invoice management through all of the back office OSS/BSS and financial settlement systems, the elastic nature of the Telarix cloud systems will allow for exponential efficiency in processing power utilization, storage utilization and overall profitability of the carrier business," said Glen Kazerman, CEO of Telarix. "Forming an EcoSystem for our partners will allow customers to access integrated carrier technologies together in a single global framework. We look forward to partnering with market leading companies to allow our customers and the marketplace to gain access to integration with their core routing and billing functions leveraging market leading solutions," said Kazerman. "Telarix is actively opening this model up to peripheral cloud technology suppliers to certify their solutions."
