SParikh wrote: This article speaks true to the importance and capitalizing of the cloud. Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Wallick & Volk Mortgage Recognized By Phoenix Business Journal As One Of The "Best Places To Work" In Phoenix

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Wallick & Volk Mortgage announced that it has been named by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of the "Best Places to Work" in Phoenix.  The Phoenix Business Journal, in cooperation with Quantum Workplace, surveyed Valley employees about benefits and perks, corporate culture and more, to determine the "Best Places to Work."   The results were announced yesterday at a luncheon at the Arizona Biltmore.

Wallick & Volk qualified in the small business category (based on the number of employees in the Phoenix Metro area).  After tabulating the results, Wallick & Volk was named 9th in the Valley for "Best Places to Work."  Michael Groff, CEO and President of Wallick & Volk, attended the luncheon, along with David Heuermann, Sr. Vice President and Joe Biondo, Area Manager.  Groff commented, "It's really gratifying to know that our employees enjoy the programs we offer to make this company a great place to work."

Employees gave Wallick & Volk high marks in areas such as health insurance and a 401K program. However, the most popular program appears to be a wellness contest that was offered.  Employees were invited to participate in friendly competition to lose weight, increase physical fitness or quit smoking.  Significant prizes were offered which enticed numerous employees to increase their overall health.  Heuermann pointed out, "Helping our team members to improve their health is a win/win – healthier employees are generally happier employees.  Our next wellness contest will begin on January 1, 2013, and we hope to motivate even more of our personnel to reach their health and fitness goals."

Wallick & Volk reports that this "Best Places to Work" award is a fitting end to an outstanding year.  Earlier this year the company announced a year-long anniversary celebration commemorating "80 Years of Excellence" in mortgage lending.   This summer Wallick & Volk was named one of the "Top 100 Mortgage Lenders" in the Nation.  Additionally, numerous Wallick & Volk branches and loan officers have received coveted awards and accolades, such as "Best of Flagstaff" as voted by readers of the Daily Sun.

Wallick & Volk is one of the oldest privately-held mortgage lenders in the Nation.  Based in Cheyenne WY, they are committed to the highest standards of customer service, knowledge and integrity.  Wallick & Volk has grown in recent years from 5 to 20 branches throughout the western United States.  Since 1932 Wallick & Volk has earned its reputation by providing exceptional mortgage education, advice and unparalleled expertise to support their client's objectives.  Wallick & Volk offers a wide variety of loan programs including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, and more.  Wallick & Volk is an Equal Housing Lender.  Visit their website at www.wvmb.com.
