PHOENIX, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- American National Medical Management (ANMM) has announced it will donate funds and support at their annual holiday fundraiser, to assist service members who have been injured in the line of duty. All proceeds from the charity celebration will be donated to the nonprofit organization Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), and will support a range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families.
Over 47,000 servicemen and women have been injured in the recent military conflicts. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Another 32,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment.
WWP's 18 programs and services are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement.
Friends, family, and affiliates of ANMM will come together for the holiday charity event on December 8th in Phoenix, Arizona to show their support, dedication, and to raise further awareness for the brave men and women of WWP.
American National Medical Management is the nation's leader in health insurance reimbursement technology. Using a proprietary claims program, ANMM seeks to retrieve reimbursement from previously denied and/or underpaid claims; thereby increasing provider profitability and alleviating out of pocket costs to patients.
"These soldiers put their lives on the line without question, and many times are left with burdens both physical and psychological that need attention. We want to show as much support for their service as possible and do everything we can to alleviate and acknowledge their hardships. It is because of their sacrifices that make this country so great," says Greg Maldonado, President of ANMM.
