Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

BCS Global Opens Door to New Era of Dramatically Enhanced Video Collaboration Across Enterprises
BCS Global's Virtual Presence B2B service makes video communication between organizations using OVCC compliant services 'As easy as making a phone call'

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 12/06/12 -- BCS Global Networks Ltd continues to lead the way in visual collaboration by launching innovative new video communication service Virtual Presence B2B, one of the first Open Visual Communications Consortium (OVCC) compliant multi-network managed video services.

Virtual Presence B2B is designed to break down existing barriers to the wider adoption of high definition video collaboration between businesses of all sizes that are served by different service providers. Members of the OVCC have been working together over the past year to achieve this through interoperability agreements that create a blueprint to deliver telepresence quality video collaboration across any vendor, any network and any device around the globe.

BCS Global's position, as a founding member of the OVCC, allows customers to video conference with any enterprises that are connected to carriers AT&T, Bharti Airtel, BT, Masergy and Orange Business Services.

Dan Tanel, BCS Global's Chief Technology Officer, comments, "BCS Global has helped many businesses increase adoption of video collaboration within their organization through our industry leading Virtual Presence portfolio of services. Until now, communicating and working with partners, customers and suppliers via video has been challenging, often inconsistent and limited to providers with bilateral interoperability agreements."

With BCS Global's Virtual Presence B2B service these problems are eliminated and setting up high definition video collaboration meetings between enterprises, using interoperable systems, becomes as easy as arranging a phone conference.

"The service is powered by an interconnected network from multiple service providers and with the reassurance of a robust round-the-clock support model. It represents a major step by service providers who have worked together to evolve the industry and will continue to do so, adding new partners and services in the future," adds Tanel.

Virtual Presence B2B is available to users who subscribe to BCS Global's existing Virtual Presence service through its channel partners. Virtual Presence is a comprehensive end-to-end managed video collaboration service that enables people to meet face to face and enjoy the full benefits of their video communications technology - with increased reliability, flexibility, performance, scalability and cost savings. It can be deployed as a cloud-based managed service or as a customer-hosted managed service using either BCS Global's or the customer's video infrastructure.

"Today's organizations are more geographically dispersed than ever. Virtual Presence B2B will improve significantly the effectiveness and productivity of business communication between people in different organizations. We believe this is the next step in accelerating the take-up of video collaboration and ultimately its replacement of telephony," concludes Tanel.
