Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Rightware to Present Kanzi UI Solution at Android Developer Conference

Rightware®, the leader in embedded user interface (UI) technologies, today announced that Arto Ruotsalainen, vice president of programs at Rightware, will be speaking at AnDevCon IV, the Android Developer Conference in San Francisco, CA. AnDevCon is one of the largest, most information-packed technical conferences dedicated to software developers working with Android OS.

Arto will be demonstrating how to easily create a stunning user experience on a touch screen using a UI design tool integrated with a powerful engine. Developers will also learn to use existing UI effect libraries in real time, such as Morphing, Particles, Motion Blur, Reflection, Bullet Physics and more. Additionally, he will illustrate how to create a superior end user experience by making your app the fastest and most responsive using Rightware’s OpenGL ES-based engine.

AnDevCon IV provides more than 1,200 developers and enterprise mobile integration experts technical information on how to build high-quality Android apps and link Android apps to enterprise systems. Attendees are also advised on the best marketing practices when marketing to the Android Market.

“With more than 25% of an average applications development budget going to UI development, designers and developers are under pressure to provide end-users a unique, creative digital experience, in a matter of weeks, not months,” stated Tero Sarkkinen, CEO at Rightware. “By sharing code and best practices at AnDevCon in San Francisco, we can help developers by introducing them to Kanzi. Kanzi will enable them to simplify and accelerate their UX development and cut time and costs so devices come to market faster.”

About the Program:

  • WHO: Arto Ruotsalainen, Vice President of Programs
  • WHAT: Enabling Creativity on Touch Screen with Kanzi UX Solution
  • WHEN: Thursday, December 6th at 3:30 PM PST
  • WHERE: Hyatt Regency, Burlingame, California

About Kanzi

Kanzi® enables the creation of visually stunning user experiences with the help of a powerful tool chain and the industry’s most optimized solution that boosts designers and developers in creation of touch user interfaces for a variety of different embedded devices. Kanzi® provides a complete set of seamlessly integrated technologies – UI engine, design tool and complementary graphics effects libraries – that together allow the translation of next-generation device requirements and hardware capabilities into superior user experiences with minimal resources and effort.

In addition, Kanzi includes a “one click” feature to build an Android APK installation package. This package is automatically copied to the target device via the USB cable, instantly installed and executed flawlessly. In a matter of seconds, developers will have a fully working application displayed on the target device’s screen.

In terms of designer’s work flow, Kanzi provides the missing link between cell phones and today’s leading 3D graphics content creation tools such as: 3DS Max, Maya and XSI. Artists can easily export their designs from these software packages to Kanzi SDK using COLLADA data format. Designers then rapidly compose the actual user interface application and apply all 3D graphics effects within the Kanzi SDK itself. The tool features a desktop runtime of the Kanzi engine to bring a real-time view of the final application to the desktop. This feature eliminates the need to continuously build the project to a target device during development in order to inspect it. Therefore, the design cycle shortens substantially while the designer is better able to realize her vision.

Kanzi runtime can be integrated to a wide variety of target devices including those with different operating systems and hardware architectures. Applications made with Kanzi SDK will execute properly in all of these devices thus yielding a greater return on investment for the application developer.

The key advantage of the Kanzi solution is “design-once, deploy everywhere,” cross-platform support for the leading mobile operating systems, including: Android, Linux and iOS. Kanzi solution is built on top of an industry standard OpenGL ES graphics API.
