NTT Communications Joins Arrow Sphere to Provide NTT Cloud Services

LONDON, December 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

NTT Communications (NTT Com), a member of the NTT Group -the numberone Fortune Global 500 telecommunications company - announced it has joined the ArrowSphere cloud services platform, a service from Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (Arrow ECS), the business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc.

Commenting on the agreement, Damian Skendrovic, Head of Cloud Services at NTT Europe, says, "We are pleased to be included in the ArrowSphere platform to help facilitate adoption of private, compute and hybrid cloud services for enterprise and midmarket business solutions. Through providing cloud services via the ArrowSphere platform, NTT Com, as a cloud service provider, will enable Arrow's reseller base toprovide its business customers with the best cloud solutions."

Through this agreement, NTT Com's Compute Cloud solution will be available to the Arrow ECS reseller network, starting with UK, France, Germany, Spain and Denmark. Offering infrastructure, platform, storage and software-as-a-service solutions (SaaS), it is a unique service that combines the best features of a standard cloud model with the performance and security of a private cloud. NTT Com's Compute Cloud is an open architecture that can be easily combined with other services (such as storage, applications management, load balancing, security services and CDN) to build solutions with security and reliabilityto address the bespoke requirements of leading businesses today.
