A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

Taking the theme of environmental business promotion and the creation of a recycling society, the "Eco-Products Exhibition" which began in 1999, now marks its 14th year. There are 711 companies and organizations participating and approximately 185,000 visitors are expected over the three-day period, making it the largest environmental exhibition in Japan.

The exhibition displays eco-products, services and environmental technologies across a broad spectrum of fields: from home appliances and daily use items, to automobiles, energy and chemical applications, paper and other materials, housing and construction, food products, containers and wrapping materials, stationery and office equipment, and financial services.

There are also displays highlighting various efforts in national environmental policy, as well as local governments' environmental business promotional efforts. For business people there is leading-edge information on environmental businesses, and for the general public there are hints about how to start living a greener lifestyle. Japanese companies are said to possess among the best environmental products and technologies in the world. In recent years, against the backdrop of global warming, there is a compelling need to deal with environmental issues on an international level. Please take this opportunity to visit the exhibition to learn more about the efforts in environmental activities and environmental technologies taking place within Japan.
