Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Big Fish, the leading global marketplace to discover and enjoy casual games on any device, has just announced the promotion of Dave Stephenson from CFO to President and CFO. Dave's promotion connects his operational acumen with the overseeing of Big Fish's game delivery and distribution. To date, Big Fish has distributed more then 2 Billion PC and Mac products and its mobile games have been downloaded more than 100 million times. With Dave taking over the operational role, the company founder and CEO Paul Thelen is free to focus on company strategy during a high-growth period in the company's history. "Dave was an obvious choice for this promotion. After a year of demonstrating his operational expertise, as well as strong financial management skills, Dave has proven that Big Fish's core strengths of game delivery and distribution will be in goods hands. By handing over the operational reins to Dave, I can employ my entrepreneurial spirit and skill set to successfully guide the company through a high-growth year," said Paul Thelen, CEO and Founder of Big Fish.

Dave joined Big Fish in 2011, after 11 years at Amazon.com, most recently in the role of vice president of finance for the company’s $15 billion North American Retail division, encompassing physical and digital merchandise, and financial oversight of subsidiaries including diapers.com and MyHabit.com. Dave previously provided financial leadership for Amazon’s Marketplace business and Amazon Web Services, among other areas. Prior to Amazon, Dave spent nine years with Procter & Gamble, where he focused on global strategic planning and new business development within multiple P&G business lines.

"I decided to join Big Fish because not only was the culture a great fit, but I saw the amazing trajectory this company was on, and how the company was connecting excellent game content with its customers, no matter where or how they like to play games," said Dave Stephenson. "I look forward to continuing this connection and making it even stronger."

Big Fish has the largest PC/Mac app store in the world. Paired with its mobile strength, where it is currently in the top 5 grossing publishers on the iPad, and its cloud gaming service Big Fish Unlimited, the company is able to offer its more than 3,000 computer games and more than 250 unique mobile games to customers anywhere in the world on any device.
