Dave's promotion connects his operational acumen with the overseeing of Big Fish's game delivery and distribution. With Dave taking over the operational role, the company founder and CEO Paul Thelen is free to focus on company strategy during a high-growth period in the company's history. Dave joined Big Fish in 2011, after 11 years at Amazon.com, most recently in the role of vice president of finance for the company’s $15 billion North American Retail division, encompassing physical and digital merchandise, and financial oversight of subsidiaries including diapers.com and MyHabit.com. Dave previously provided financial leadership for Amazon’s Marketplace business and Amazon Web Services, among other areas. Prior to Amazon, Dave spent nine years with Procter & Gamble, where he focused on global strategic planning and new business development within multiple P&G business lines.
