Aspect Software, a leading provider of next generation customer contact and enterprise workforce optimization, today announced the appointment of Bryan Sheppeck as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Sheppeck, a communications industry veteran, is tasked with aligning Aspect's sales and channel operations with the company's renewed strategy and initiatives.

Sheppeck brings over 20 years of sales leadership experience in high growth areas of communications to his new role. His focus will be to build world-class sales and channel capabilities for Aspect's market-leading workforce optimization and customer contact solutions.

"Bryan's arrival demonstrates to our customers, partners, stakeholders and employees alike that Aspect has a fervent commitment to improving the customer experience and sustaining long-term growth," says Stewart Bloom, Aspect CEO. "With Bryan's leadership, our sales organization will address a fundamental shift in the way we embrace value-based selling, create a clearer articulation of the way we approach vertical industries, deepen our engagement of channel partners in the geographies we serve clients, and increase our contribution to client success. We are thrilled to add another world-class executive to the Aspect management team."

Before joining Aspect, Sheppeck was Avaya's vice president of sales responsible for service provider alliances, working with these organizations not only as global channels, but also as large enterprise customers and partners in developing cloud business models and strategy. Prior to this role he served as vice president for applications sales at Alcatel Lucent, following his success in building the global sales and customer service organizations at Telica.

"The company's strategic growth plans and company revitalization made joining the new leadership team at Aspect a very compelling opportunity," says Sheppeck. "I'm anxious to start enabling a world class sales organization which addresses the business needs of our customers and aligns to Aspect's goal of elevating our service to clients and customers."

Sheppeck earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and holds an MBA from George Washington University.
