Mario's: 100 Recipes from the Landmark Rochester NY Restaurant Cookbook brings award-winning restaurateur's greatest meals into everyone's home

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rochester's most beloved chef and restaurant owner Mario Daniele has released a world-class, stunning cookbook featuring 100 of his greatest recipes.  Mario's: 100 Recipes from the Landmark Rochester, NY Restaurant includes mouth-watering, and award-winning dishes, carefully created and explained by Mario himself. This marks Daniele's second cookbook.

The book is also a testament to the Daniele's family and business, with a detailed story of humble beginnings as an Italian immigrant who came America to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning several restaurants and other companies. With over 200 full color pages, the hardcover book is as much a photo expose as it is a cookbook and biography.

"I am so proud of what my family, staff and special guests have accomplished through our restaurants," said Daniele. "So many great memories, occasions and great meals."  Among the recipes included are the most popular dishes served at Daniele's Mario's Restaurant, including: Grilled Calamari, Salmon Carpaccio, Artichokes French, and many others.

"Some restaurants are very secretive of their recipes, but I believe these wonderful meals should be shared with everyone," says Daniele. "The experience of being served and eating these meals in our restaurant cannot be duplicated, but the meal itself can be. So many of our customers have asked for our recipes that I felt it was time to make the best ones available."

Overflowing with a scrumptious mix of soups, salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts, the book features the distinct flavors of Italy that Daniele brought with him when he came to America. The vibrant photography and interesting tidbits and suggestions create a one-of-a-kind tasty experience for any cook that uses Mario's: 100 Recipes from the Landmark Rochester, NY Restaurant.

Mario Daniele, with his sons, Anthony and Danny, own and operate Mario's Italian Steakhouse at 2740 Monroe Avenue in Rochester, NY, along with sister restaurants, Bazil's and The Original Crab Shack.  He has also launched a line of food products, including Mario's Pasta Sauce, which has become a best seller in Upstate New York.

Mario's: 100 Recipes from the Landmark Rochester, NY Restaurant is currently available at all area Wegman's Supermarkets, and Rochester-area Barnes & Noble stores. The book is also available for online purchase at Amazon.com and at www.mariosit.com
