Take the Stress Out of Christmas by Giving Raucous Relatives the Perfect Place to Sit

LONDON, December 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

As everyone accepts your invitation for Christmas dinner, the magnitude of the task you've undertaken can suddenly dawn on you. Committing to feeding your entire family can be truly terrifying. Most family Christmases will end with at least one drama, whether Auntie Ellen breaks the garden furniture you had to use as emergency seating or your newly vegetarian nephews and nieces won't touch anything you've cooked.

The key to executing a stress-free Christmas is giving everyone somewhere to sit when the Queen's speech is on, as nothing is surer to play on frayed nerves that forcing Uncle Fred to sit on your old bean bag for the evening. With under a month to go, now is the time to invest in a new sofa, so when the family descend they've got a decent place for them to put their feet up.

First thing's first, think about what you need in a sofa for this Christmas and beyond. If you have a small family then something compact is what you want and when you're short on space and someone's had too much to drink, Sofa beds by CSL are the perfect option. They come in a wide range of designs from classically chic to cool and contemporary so whatever you're working with in regards to interior design, CSL will have the sofa for you. With their 'In Your Room' feature, you can import a picture of your space and see if the couch you've set your heart on coordinates with your décor without having to take time out to visit the store in the busy festive season.

If you have kids but still want to create a cool living space then sofa beds may well be the answer. Leather models offer durability and can be wiped clean when little fingers cover them in chocolate, while fabric sofas come in bold brights and pretty patterns that are sure to make a style statement.

If you have a massive family, then a corner sofa is the only way to go, offering plenty of space for everyone. They don't dominate a room so you'll still be able to stick the children on the floor with a few cushions for comfort and all the adults will be kept cosy and content well into the evening.

Whatever you need to keep the family happy this Christmas, CSL are on hand to help!
