Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. Telematics company moj.io Launches World's First Open Platform for Car Apps on Indiegogo.com, Adds Bill Weihl to Advisory Board

VANCOUVER, BC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/29/12 -- moj.io,(mo-jee-o) the first open platform for car apps, today announced the formal launch of its consumer and developer-based technology on the world's largest crowd-funding website, Indiegogo.com. moj.io also announced the appointment of Bill Weihl to its team of advisors. Weihl is a sustainability manager at Facebook, and was previously the chief energy czar at Google.

"We're very excited about our launch on Indiegogo," said Jay Giraud, chief executive officer, moj.io. "It allows us to launch moj.io products into future global markets and address the need for connected cars worldwide."

The moj.io device installs into the onboard diagnostics (OBD) port of any car built after 1995. "By connecting the car's computer to the internet, moj.io brings the car into your app-centric life," said Giraud. "For example, there are apps where you can manually disable texts before you start driving, and smart phone use while driving is expected to be a leading cause of car accidents this year. With moj.io in your car, our DriveSmart™ app knows the moment you put your car in drive and automatically disables texts and call notifications on your smart phone until the car is in park. You can even disable your teenage drivers' phone use when they're using your car. Once the car is in park, the disabled apps automatically start working again. It's that simple."

"moj.io takes cars and connects them to the rest of the world. Its open platform allows others to build on top of it leading to a wider range of more useful applications for consumers. I look forward to seeing the kinds of things people will develop on the moj.io platform," said Weihl.

"moj.io turns the car into a device that can be securely accessed over the internet," said moj.io's chief technology officer, Narayan Sainaney. "We want to enable an entire ecosystem of developers and help their imagination become reality."

The first eight apps released to Indiegogo backers include:

AutoText
FamilyConnect™
DriveSmart™
TowAlert
Vehicle Locate
Mileage Tracker
Virtual Mechanic
Good Driver Points

The moj.io team aims to raise $85K in 30 days on Indiegogo.com.
