Western European Software Provider Expands Its Use of Kofax Solution

Kofax® plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of Capture Enabled BPM™ (business process management) solutions, today announced that a leading Western European telecommunications software provider has invested more than $850,000 to expand its Kofax solution to service an additional business unit in order to better support its growing capture and processing needs.

The customer will expand its use of Kofax Communication ServerTM to automate the capture and processing of an additional 10,000 fax, SMS, email and voicemail messages daily. Kofax Communication Server ingests email, fax, SMS, MMS, voicemail and telex communications through devices such as multifunction printers (MFPs), fax and phone systems. The software then replaces the manual processing of these communications by linking inbound and outbound communications channels and using them to automatically exchange the information between enterprise applications such as workflows, collaboration tools and repositories. This eliminates the delays and errors associated with manual input, enabling the customer to significantly increase operational efficiency and reduce infrastructure costs.

“Telecommunications providers need a solution that can scale quickly to accommodate growth,” said Howard Dratler, executive vice president of Field Operations at Kofax. “By automating the exchange of information across the enterprise, customers benefit from a streamlined communication solution that gets the right information to the right person at the right time.”

The Kofax Communication Server™ (KCS) enables the automated exchange of business critical information, linking both inbound and outbound services provided by devices such as fax and phone systems, media types that include email, FoIP, SMS, MMS, voicemail and telex, applications such as ERP, CRM and other enterprise applications, and social collaboration tools.
