HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 11/24/12 -- Haven Holidays launch Funstars Go Live concept for 2013. They are looking for undiscovered stars in their biggest talent hunt to date as they want to recruit 100 new artists.

Funstars Go Live is a brand new entertainment concept that is rocketing to Haven Holidays in 2013 and if you are 18 or over this could be just the opportunity you're looking for.

Haven Holidays entertain over 3 million guests and owners during a 34 week season across their 35 family holiday parks. Day time kids clubs and nightly entertainment are all included in the price of a Haven holiday and each year they introduce new elements to keep it fresh and exciting and for this they need bright new talent.

Steve Donnelly, head of entertainment said, "We're shaping a new look for our entertainment model next year with some of the most contemporary concepts in the industry today. We have assembled a talented new creative team and we are looking for 100 talented performers to turn the concepts into reality."

Steve went on to say, "A Funstar will have a number of skills including singing, dancing, acting, presenting and party dancing. A genuine smile along with a lust for life is essential. They must be well presented, outgoing, ambitious, personable, able to engage with guests and most important of all a Funstar has to be fun. For the more experienced performers we also have vacancies for Entertainment Managers."

You do need to be 18 or over.

STEVE DONNELLY joined Haven in May this year as Head of Entertainment.

Having a long history co-ordinating, producing & directing shows and creative ventures, Steve works closely with his creative team producing show and events, supplying entertainment from concept to curtain up.

From an early age, Steve was actively involved in theatre, studio production & large scale events. Following training in performing Arts & Technical Theatre, he gained valuable experience working and experiencing work as roles such as Production Manager, Company Manager and Event Manager for cruising, theatre, concerts, corporate shows and special events. He started his career working in the UK Holiday Entertainment business as a Pontin's Bluecoat and Entertainment Manager and has performed in production shows in international hotels. He has written and produced for clients that include First Choice Holiday Villages, Thomson Family Resorts, Guinness World Records & Dreamworks. He has a passion and flair for writing & producing quirky and commercial family Entertainment concepts that are exciting both to watch and perform.
