ManTech Awarded Contract to Provide Software and Systems Engineering Services to U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command

ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) was awarded a contract by the Communications-Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) to provide comprehensive software and systems engineering services to CECOM LCMC’s Software Engineering Center (SEC). The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple-award contract has a ceiling value of $7 billion with a two-year base period of performance, one two-year option, and an additional one-year option.

Under this contract ManTech will provide scientific, systems engineering, and software engineering technical services to support the SEC’s warfighter, enterprise services, and business mission areas. ManTech will provide software engineering services in support of several specific functional areas, including communications, intelligence fusion, avionics, command and control, business applications, financial management, fire support, capability maturity model integration, information assurance, and logistics. The majority of the work will be performed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.; however, support may be required in other facilities throughout the United States and worldwide.

ManTech has significant experience providing the tools and resources needed to manage complex processes and teams. The company’s Agile software development processes, CMMI Maturity Level 3 development rating, rapid prototyping capability, and cyber and information assurance toolsets are excellent resources to assist the SEC in meeting their mission requirements.

“ManTech’s use of Agile methodologies has enabled us to increase productivity by as much as 67 percent and cut project costs by 49 percent,” said Louis M. Addeo, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Technical Services Group. “We have been able to deliver software to the market 37 percent faster than traditional software development teams. We are honored to provide these and our other capabilities to the SEC in support of the warfighter.”
