cloudhosting14 wrote: As you would already know that managed hosting itself is another form of Cloud hosting in which the system administrations of servers is looked upon by the CPs. Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Frias Transportation Infrastructure Unveils Revolutionary Technology
FTI Presented its Proprietary Cloud Based System at the International Association of Transportation Regulators 25th Anniversary Conference in Washington D.C.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark James, Chief Executive Officer of Frias Transportation Infrastructure (FTI), a Nevada based company, said today that after three years of development of the patent-pending secure server based platform, the company was thrilled by the response it received from transportation regulators who saw the technology for the first time at the International Association of Transportation Regulators conference last week in Washington, DC.  The System, called RideIntegrity™, was designed to offer transportation regulators the first revolutionary technology alternative to the traditional taximeter in over 100 years.

"RideIntegrity™ is a multifaceted cloud based system created by FTI to give regulators a powerful resource to enforce tariff and taximeter fare calculations and other for-hire-vehicle regulations and parameters in real time.  It provides consumer protection and convenience by allowing regulation of smartphone hailing applications through a registration and licensing process," James said.

A prototype of RideIntegrity™ encompassing five patent-pending technologies was demonstrated at a breakout session of the IATR Conference, attended by several cities that have expressed an interest in the project, as well as members of the National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

"This is exciting new technology and we look forward to working with FTI to update the taximeter code through established workgroups of our organization," said Don Onwiler, Executive Director of the National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM).

FTI estimates the cost of RideIntegrity™ to be a nominal charge per trip that will offer benefits to all stakeholders that far exceed its cost.

"Our system benefits consumers, regulators, fleet operators and drivers.  Fares are calculated in the FTI cloud server controlled by the regulator, so consumers know the fares are correct; and the system ensures they are not refused service due to their location or discrimination.  Consumers can use third party hailing applications from smart phones to find a ride, with the comfort of knowing all parties to the transaction are licensed, accountable and regulated—in real time—should a problem arise.  Regulators get real time information and data to better enforce passenger protection laws and rules; and with the RideIntegrity™ system there is a secure, versatile platform, allowing and encouraging introduction of new technology to the transportation industry by fleet operators, industry vendors, smart phone application developers and others.  Fleet operators and drivers will increase their business and ease their compliance with transportation regulations.  It is a win-win for the for-hire-vehicle industry in all respects," James said.

RideIntegrity™ is in its initial test phases and FTI is in the process of collecting field trial data from mobile devices, in-vehicle devices and car computers through the OBD II port available in every vehicle produced.
