American Digital Partners With Latisys to Deliver HP-Powered End-to-End Cloud Infrastructure Solutions
Strategic Reseller Agreement Provides American Digital Customers With On-Ramp to Latisys' National IT Infrastructure Services Platform

CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 11/19/12 -- Latisys, a leading provider of outsourced IT solutions delivered on a high-density, high-security platform -- from colocation to cloud -- today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with American Digital Corporation, a leading and award-winning IT Solutions provider.

Based in Chicago, American Digital Corporation has over 25 years of experience helping Fortune 1000 firms design and implement the best IT infrastructure to help them achieve their business goals.

Under terms of the agreement, American Digital -- a long time value-added reseller of HP and an HP Cloud Center of Excellence (CCE) -- will begin offering enterprise cloud solutions leveraging Latisys' national IT infrastructure services platform. American Digital customers can now take advantage of Latisys -- an HP CloudAgile Partner -- and their broad portfolio of outsourced IT solutions featuring HP's CloudSystem Matrix and cloud bursting capabilities.

Latisys has deployed a unified national service delivery platform that consists of ultra-high density data centers and an enterprise-grade, built-for-the-future hosting and cloud platform. This enables Latisys to be extremely flexible in the design and delivery of IT infrastructure services tailored to specific needs of today's growing businesses.

"As enterprise IT environments gain in complexity and become more geographically dispersed, the need to effectively federate hybrid IT solutions across cloud, colocation, managed hosting -- and even on-premise environments -- continues to gain momentum," said Bob Panos, Senior Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships at American Digital. "Latisys' end-to-end platform, built on leading server, storage and cloud infrastructure from HP, is a perfect complement for American Digital customers looking to expand, extend and optimize their IT and cloud infrastructure environments."

Latisys continues to expand its national IT Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform, recently announcing that it is adding 10,000 square feet of data center space and an additional 1.35 megawatts of power in Chicago. The space and power will augment CHI2, Latisys' 49,000 square foot Tier III data center adjacent to CHI1. Based in Oak Brook, Illinois, Latisys' Chicago data centers serve as the Midwest hub of Latisys' nationwide footprint, which also features Denver as a disaster recovery site, and Southern California and Northern Virginia as gateways to APAC and Europe.

"As a 'Go To' partner of HP in the Midwest, American Digital is an established and reputable provider of efficient, high performance IT and data center solutions that provide clients with a competitive business advantage," said Pete Stevenson, Latisys CEO. "We look forward to working with American Digital to deploy scalable, flexible, and truly high performance hybrid IT infrastructure solutions."

Latisys' data center platform is operated under SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3 audited controls. This replaces the SAS 70 guidebook and reaffirms Latisys' commitment to meet the highest standards for availability and security, while making sure all of the appropriate controls and safeguards are firmly in place.

Earlier this year, Latisys announced that it is adding 72,000 square feet of highly secure, high density, carrier grade IT infrastructure space along with significant power upgrades. After opening DEN2 -- Latisys' newest state-of-the-art data center in Denver -- and DC5 -- a 22,000 square foot expansion in Ashburn, Latisys' total data center platform exceeds 343,000 square feet across seven data centers in four major markets.
