I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

The highlighted pesticide policy, namely Regulations on Pesticide Management (Regulation), is disclosed by an official from the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture, and it will be finally released before Dec. 2012. The official also revealed some of the information about the Regulation that hasn't been disclosed before. The eye-attracting information revealed was that the Regulation will allow every enterprise to own the qualification to apply for registration of new pesticide, not just those designated production enterprises and permit transaction of pesticide registration license before the product registered is put into production.

This regulation newly made in the Regulation is considered to be the purpose of Chinese Government to fasten the speed of the integration of domestic pesticide industry. With other new paragraphs in the new Regulation, it is easy observed that the new Regulation has strictly stuck to the general direction of the integration and regulation of domestic pesticide industry in the policy carried out in 2010, namely Pesticide Industry Policy.

New modification information about the new Regulations on Pesticide Management is released by the officials from the ICAMA during the 5th China High-Level Forum on Pesticides held on 25-26 Sept., 2012.

China would have huge business opportunities if it makes full use of the off-patent pesticides owned by oversea enterprises.

While entering Sept. 2012, some of domestic pesticides' prices stay stable and some of others' prices, however, witness continuous ups and downs.

China's MRLs standards will reach 7,000 items totally by the end of 2015, upgrading the pesticide management system further.

Lier Chemical announces on 12 Oct., 2012 that it will get a government grant of USD1.66 million from Mianyang Municipal Government.

Jiangsu Changqing is planning a 1,260t/a pesticide formulation project to optimize the product structure.

Shandong Shengli predicts a large deficit in Q1-Q3 2012, up to USD3.16 million to USD4.27 million.

14 domestic pesticide enterprises gain registration of azoxystrobin technical in 2012 (1 Jan., 2012 to 11 Oct., 2012).

According to the figures from the General Administration of Customs of China (GAC), the volume and value of China's pesticide export and import all witness growing in Jan.-Aug. 2012.
