Quickfilter Technologies Announces Release of ProfoundSound Software for Direct Downloading by Consumers

Quickfilter Technologies today announced the availability of two software products that are intended for direct downloading by consumers. The ProfoundSound™ Lite and ProfoundSound CSharp software packages are designed to enable consumers to enhance audio quality in laptop and desktop computers. The products provide high quality audio playback for all PC audio devices from the internal speakers to any speaker attached to the audio ports – even to Bluetooth audio streamed from the PC. These software packages utilize Quickfilter’s innovative TruDynamics processing algorithms to allow dynamic control of Quickfilter’s Virtual Bass and WideAudio Virtual Surround technologies. In addition, they provide for a dynamically controlled voice band, which is used to enhance vocals over a wide range of volume levels.

ProfoundSound Lite features a rich user interface equipped with a 5-band graphic equalizer, multiple presets for music, movies and VoIP, variable surround sound and variable bass, all using the patented ProfoundSound psychoacoustic technology. Included are multiple output settings for headphones and internal and external speakers.

ProfoundSound CSharp features a rich user interface equipped with a 10-band graphic equalizer, variable loudness, auto sound leveling, variable dynamic surround sound, variable dynamic virtual bass, variable high frequency restoration, a 20-band spectral analyzer, variable dynamic bass and dynamic voice, plus the ability to customize and save consumer-designated settings, all designed to give the consumer ultimate flexibility. Included are multiple output settings for headphones, and internal and external speakers.

The ProfoundSound software packages provide preset options for the casual listener. For the sophisticated audiophile, a control panel is provided for customizing equalization, bass response, dynamic bass & treble, surround sound & high frequency restoration.

“The ProfoundSound Lite and ProfoundSound CSharp software packages are the first, of what we hope to be several, products targeted directly to the consumer,” said Tony Valentino, Quickfilter Technologies Chief Operating Officer. “With these products, the consumer will enjoy an enhanced listening experience from what was traditionally poor sound reproduction in PCs and laptops. Quickfilter Technologies’ dedication to enhancing the entertainment experience is at the core of these products. We are offering a 7-day fully functional Free Trial of both products. We invite our customers to HEAR THE DIFFERENCE whether it’s music, video, Internet radio, or VoIP phone calls.”

ProfoundSound Lite retails for $9.95 and ProfoundSound CSharp retails for $19.95. Both products run on Windows 7 (32- or 64-bit) and the 7-day free trials are available for download from www.profoundsoundaudio.com.

Innovative technology is at the core of our products. Utilizing a total systems approach (including the end user environment), our engineers ensure that the highest performance and highest quality solutions are delivered to our customers. Our solutions are born through passionate study and understanding of acoustics, physics, electronics, mathematics, and mechanical engineering.

Founded in 2003, we have leveraged our hardware and software digital signal processing expertise to create unique solutions for consumer audio manufacturers worldwide.
