eGistics, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based data and document management solutions, today announced the hiring of Mike Dignen as executive vice president. A 27-year financial services industry veteran, Dignen will work with eGistics Executive Vice President Gary Provo to help drive the company’s revenue growth strategies. A former banker, Dignen is widely recognized as one of the industry thought leaders in the payments processing, receivables automation and corporate treasury management arenas.

“Mike has successfully sold enterprise and departmental solutions into large financial institutions, as well as emerging market segments. His proven track record will extend the efforts of our sales and account management team, accelerating our strong momentum in selling payments and document management solutions in financial services,” eGistics CEO Bob Lund said.

Dignen joins eGistics from Avistar, where he was senior vice president, responsible for the company’s account management and sales. Before joining Avistar, Dignen was senior vice president of sales for US Dataworks, and senior vice president of sales for VICOR. During his tenure at VICOR, Dignen was instrumental in driving annual revenue growth of more than 50 percent and establishing VICOR as the leader in solutions for optimized complex payments processing, prior to its sale to Metavante. Dignen also has held positions at Profit Technologies Corp and CoreStates Financial Corp.

Dignen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and is active in financial services associations.
