Mellanox Connect-IB InfiniBand Adapter Achieves World Record Performance Results

SC12 -- Mellanox® Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: MLNX; TASE: MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems, today announced that its recently announced next-generation InfiniBand adapter, Connect-IB, achieved world-record performance results, enabling the creation of highly scalable server and storage connected infrastructures. The Connect-IB dual-port 56Gb/s FDR InfiniBand adapter achieves the industry’s highest throughput of more than 100Gb/s utilizing PCI Express 3.0 x16 and over 135 million messages per second, 4.5X higher than previous or competing solutions. These performance capabilities are critical to High-Performance Computing (HPC), Web 2.0, Cloud, Big Data and financial applications which require a high rate of message communication in order to deliver faster results and provide a competitive advantage to their users.
