Ride-On Goes to South Korea
The leading edge tire balancer and sealant is making waves both with consumers and the South Korean national police department

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ride-On Tire Protection Systems are gaining ground in one of Asia's most vibrant and innovation-friendly economies. South Korea, also known as the Republic of Korea, is a nation on the move – and that means it has its share of enthusiastic drivers and motorcyclists. Ride-On's innovative LED Smart Cap Tire Pressure Monitor (TPMS), which alerts motorcyclists, drivers, and scooter riders to low tire pressure, is drawing the attention of Korea's national police department.

Having already installed Ride-On in over 200 police vehicles with plans to implement Ride-On TPS into their entire fleet in 2013, it makes sense the Korean police are drawn to this new exciting technology. The nation's widely read newspaper, Chosun Ilbo, has already singled-out Ride-On as part of the James Bond-esque level of sophistication and features of the cars driven by Seoul's famed police. The paper's writers, never shy about expressing excitement, have described police car tires as being impervious to puncs (the Korean word for "punctures").

It is not only the National Police taking notice of Ride-On in Korea. Harley-Davidson of Korea has agreed to take Ride-On on in all five of their stores. Considered by most as the premier motorcycle brand in Korea, the product is sure to spread like wildfire.

Ride-On has also designed a new product called Spare Change. Spare Change is a mobility kit that can replace the need for a spare tire, thus reducing car weight, expanding trunk space, and improving MPG. In fact, many car manufacturers are supplying these kits as OEM items, instead of spare tires, to help meet the new MPG standards that are popping up around the world. The kit is replete with a compressor and a Ride-On after-the-fact tire sealant designed using the same proprietary technology that Ride-On has developed over the last seventeen years as the leader in preventative sealants. This 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous sealant is not latex based (industry standard but virtually ruins tires) and has caught the eye of such car manufacturers as Hyundai.
