Spectrio Acquires Profit-Tell International

Spectrio (www.spectrio.com), a provider of audio and video based marketing solutions, has completed the acquisition Profit-Tell International (http://www.profit-tell.com), a Chicago based messaging on-hold company. Affiliates of Main Street Capital Corporation (NASDAQ-GS: MAIN) and Deerpath Capital Management, LP provided financing as part of their on-going relationship with Spectrio.

As part of the acquisition, Spectrio will incorporate Profit-Tell’s franchise locations throughout the U.S., along with the company’s creative script development staff and studios. These employees create and produce on-hold messaging, web-site audio tours, email campaigns, and newsletters for a variety of clients and industries.

“We believe that Profit-Tell International’s client base and expertise in the audio and Web marketing space will complement Spectrio’s suite of services”, said Aaron Kleinhandler, principal & CEO of Spectrio. “Profit-Tell and its president David Hearld have helped thousands of clients in over 300 industries increase business using on hold messaging, web and email marketing campaigns, all which dovetails nicely into Spectrio’s core competencies.”

“Spectrio has demonstrated a commitment to ensuring that our legacy clients will continue to receive the same outstanding level of service that they have come to expect with Profit-Tell International,” stated President David Hearld of Profit-Tell International. “Spectrio is one of the top five providers in the telephone on-hold messaging industry and the combined studios, writers and voice talent of both companies, will provide unparalleled service and an expanded variety of marketing options – including digital signage”

Both Spectrio and Profit-Tell International are dedicated to the smooth execution of this transition, ensuring that the exceptional level of customer satisfaction is maintained. To this end, Profit-Tell’s president David Hearld will be stepping back from some of his day-to-day operational duties, but will still remain involved in the company.

About Spectrio:

Headquartered in Tampa, Fla., Spectrio provides audio and video based solutions to help clients deliver effective marketing messaging to their customers. The company creates and delivers a variety of multimedia marketing solutions, including: producing and recording on-hold telephone messages, IVR prompts and automated attendant greetings; digital signage solutions for waiting areas, retail spaces and interactive kiosk applications; public space music and location specific “storecast” messaging; multimedia enhancements for the Web, and custom video applications. The company has annual revenues of approximately $17 million and 72 employees. With audio and/or video marketing solutions in place in approximately 40,000 U.S. locations, the company is among the top five providers in the telephone on-hold messaging industry.

About Profit-Tell International:

Profit-Tell was founded by David Hearld in 1993. The company is an advertising and marketing firm and began franchising in 2002, now with over 20 units nationwide. They specialize in using creative marketing solutions to improve client profits by cross educating customers in services they may not have known existed or considered previously. Profit-Tell has worked with thousands of companies nationwide.
