Message Bus Launches Cloud-Native Service for Sending Trusted Email, Mobile and Social Messages at Scale

CORTE MADERA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/07/12 -- Message Bus, pioneer of cloud-based infrastructure for email, mobile and social messaging, today released its Global Delivery Network following a successful 10 month beta program with 35 design partners including American Greetings, MyFitnessPal, and Telly. The Global Delivery Network is a software service for enterprises, email service providers (ESPs), and application developers requiring the ability to effectively send and deliver millions to billions of email, mobile, and social messages per month.

"Telly provides a social video sharing service experiencing rapid growth which means we send millions, scaling soon to over a billion messages per month across multiple channels. Message Bus has scaled seamlessly and effortlessly to meet our needs. Our previous provider struggled to scale and get messages sent actually delivered to the inbox. Message Bus helps Telly meet the demand of our burgeoning user base with the confidence the messages our customers want to receive are actually delivered," said Adil Lalani, CTO and Co-Founder of Telly, a leading social video network. To watch Lalani talk about Message Bus, simply go to: http://youtu.be/bKlI4qgun9s.

Multi-channel message volumes are all growing rapidly with email representing the dominant channel for outside-the-app communications powering social media, marketing campaigns, and transactional activities such as order confirmations and password resets. One in five legitimate emails is either blocked or routed to the spam folder; this presents a major challenge to companies relying on email as a primary driver of revenue and brand recognition.

Companies and ESPs struggle to setup, maintain and deliver high quality transactional and marketing messages across multiple channels. The cost and complexity of maintaining these systems are underscored by the need to maintain dedicated IT personnel, and the services of deliverability experts. With message volumes soaring and brand reputations at risk, companies need a secure, flexible, elastic and highly scalable solution to deliver mission critical communications across devices and platforms.

"Messaging has become a multi-layered and multi-faceted problem. When you peel back the onion, you find massive costs, a breakdown in the trust relationship between senders and receivers, and scaling challenges to meet demand," said Jeremy LaTrasse, CEO and Co-Founder of Message Bus. "The Global Delivery Network was created to solve these barriers to communication and business by leveraging the power of the internet's flexibility, elasticity and infinite scalability. Our first ever cloud-native application service greatly improves the likelihood your message is delivered and delivered on time."

Purpose built for the cloud, in the cloud, the Global Delivery Network leverages the strengths of a cloud-native service to reduce costs, improve reliability, and elastically scale across multiple infrastructure-as-a-service providers. The service has none of the limitations vendors face who rely on cloud-washed or in-house data centers requiring the need to maintain application state with the underlying infrastructure and as a result, plan, procure, and provision server infrastructure based upon peak demand. In addition, through a flexible and highly scalable architecture, the Global Delivery Network is an easy-to-setup no maintenance cost solution that achieves unparalleled deliverability. Senders are able to focus on the nuances of a marketing campaign or transactional communication, knowing that their messages will be monitored and optimized to improve delivery.

The Message Bus Global Delivery Network is the first email service to be 100% compliant with the Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance (DMARC) standard for all senders. The service protects and monitors an organization's brand reputation on an ongoing basis by publishing policies allowing only authorized IP addresses to send email using their domain to DMARC compliant ISP networks. This allows IT organizations to regain control of their outbound email channels while also protecting their brand reputation from harmful phishing, spam, and other unauthorized attempts to abuse their domain. In related news Message Bus released Discover, a free new reporting service for detecting email abuse: http://www2.marketwire.com/mw/release_html_b1?release_id=950886.
