Ixia Joins Broadband Wireless Consortium of India to Ensure High-Performing User Experience and Support Emerging Standards

Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA) today announced its membership in the Broadband Wireless Consortium of India to further lead the development of broadband wireless access performance, standardization and deployment. BWCI is a national forum that addresses many aspects of broadband wireless access by bringing together major stakeholders in the Indian telecom industry.

As a global technology innovator, Ixia will collaborate with the BWCI to provide leadership in the deployment of high-performing, stable and secure broadband wireless infrastructures. Ixia solutions validate and improve the performance of converged, wireless and wireline networks. Throughout the world Ixia enables carriers to optimize 3G and 4G/LTE infrastructures, enterprises to battle-test network and data center resiliency, governments to harden security and train cyber warriors, and equipment manufacturers to accelerate the creation of next-generation devices.

“BWCI provides a platform to bring organizations together which are critical to the building of a high-performing broadband wireless ecosystem in India,” said Professor Bhaskar Ramamurthi, chairman of BWCI and Honorary Director of CEWiT. “Ixia’s membership in BWCI brings a new dimension in exploring emerging wireless technologies and addressing their challenges.”

About Ixia
