FLANDERS, N.J. and REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EP²M, LLC, an industry-leading systems integrator and Gold-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), and Oracle announced today the completion of a successful go-live, capping a series of strategic Oracle Utilities application implementations and integrations for Middlesex Water Company, a 115-year old water utility company which owns and operates regulated water utility and wastewater systems serving more than 450,000 residents in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Today's announcement underscores EP²M's industry-leading reputation as a valued systems integrator with a proven record of successful multi-product implementations and integrations for Oracle Utilities solutions. Overview This most recent project phase succeeded in delivering full integration of the three Oracle Utilities applications into Middlesex Water Company's other key business systems: the Oracle E-Business Suite for accounting, ADP for payroll, and Geographic Information Systems for map viewing of water-related infrastructure. EP²M and CH2M Hill's deployment of the Oracle Field Work Process Integration Pack for the multiple integrations allowed the team to meet critical time and budget goals, while delivering greater transparency into business processes and a truly integrated enterprise solution that automates and streamlines operations across critical business, customer service, field and related systems. "Middlesex Water Company has seen immediate improvements in field crew productivity, dispatcher efficiency, emergency response, cost management and customer satisfaction. We have confidence the completion of this final phase will further increase efficiencies across the enterprise and continue to deliver even greater benefits," said Richard M. Risoldi, Vice President and COO of Middlesex Water Company. "The specialists at EP²M collaborated with us and CH2M Hill to integrate a complicated network of new and existing applications from Oracle that will ensure our essential information systems keep pace with our growth. This successful implementation reinforces EP²M's leadership and expertise and has enhanced the service we provide to our customers," added Risoldi. "As a large and growing company, it was essential to provide a truly integrated enterprise solution designed to handle Middlesex Water Company's complex business structure," said EP²M CEO Dave Mulit. "By using Oracle Field Work Process Integration Pack, we were able to keep this intricate sequence of integrations and implementations within budget and on schedule while minimizing service level disruptions, particularly during Middlesex Water's busy winter season." "Oracle Utilities is committed to helping utilities improve customer experiences and operational efficiencies," said Rodger Smith, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Utilities. "Middlesex Water Company's selection of multiple Oracle products over time is testimony to the business value we deliver to utilities."
