Star Micronics and Registroid Form Collaboration
Registroid Cloud Certifies Star Printers

EDISON, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/12 -- Star Micronics, a leading worldwide manufacturer of point-of-service printers, recently became partners with Registroid. The Registroid Cloud system is a cloud-based system that interfaces with all general retail Star printers.

The Registroid Cloud provides speed, features, flexibility and ease of use for its users. The system utilizes Registroid's Android cash register app that is running on the company's phone or tablet, which communicates to the secure cloud servers. After a thorough process, several Star printers were certified for use with Registroid Cloud.

Star Micronics' TSP100 series, SP500 series, TSP650 series, TSP700 and SP700 series printers can all interface with the Registroid Cloud. The TSP100 series printer from Star is the first all-in-one receipt printer and offers high print speeds, as do the TSP700 series printers. Both the SP500 and SP700 series printers feature an internal power supply and the TSP650 brings high reliability and performance to its users.

"We are very pleased about the partnership we have created with Registroid," stated Christophe Naasz, Director of Marketing at Star Micronics. "Registroid is a leader in Android point of sale and we believe Star printers fit their solution perfectly."

"The relationship that Registroid Cloud has formed with Star Micronics' printers is a perfect one," David Lane, President at Registroid. "We are excited to offer the use of Star printers with our cloud solution and believe it will create better efficiency for our customers."
