YCO Charter for 2006
Brand new Lurssen ?Oasis? Could be Big Hit

YCO are proud to announce the forthcoming mega-yacht Oasis as their latest centrally listed charter yacht.

Due to launch in March of this year, Oasis will be available for charter throughout the Mediterranean this summer.

The latest accomplishment of pioneering German shipyard Lurssen, the 59.4m motor yacht Oasis is resplendent with innovative design features and luxurious details.

Combined with interiors by Glade Johnson, her expansive windows provide an elegant ambiance and afford guests private, sweeping views of their surroundings.

“We are excited to have been appointed the Central Agency of Oasis and look forward to promoting her for charter, says YCO Director of Charter Marketing, Robert Shepherd. “A yacht of this alibre will attract sophisticated charterers and be in high demand; we are looking forward to a very busy charter season.”

Offering accommodation for twelve in a full-width master suite and five generous guest cabins, there is no shortage of comfortable living space aboard.

Some of Oasis’s notable attributes include the openair sundeck with built-in bar, jacuzzi and barbecue area and a professionally-equipped gymnasium that transforms into a private nightclub.

A crew of fifteen will be on hand to tend to charter guests’ every need, with a wide range of new water toys such as AquaTrax, Segways, kayaks, a Laser sailboat, towables and dive gear. Guests an also take a scenic tour of their surrounds on the high quality mountain bikes provided for their enjoyment.

Oasis joins the YCO charter ranks alongside the classically-inspired sailing yacht Athena, also set to begin chartering for the first time this summer.

At a breathtaking 90 metres long, Athena is the largest sailing yacht to be launched since the 1930’s, and boasts a cruising speed of up to 17.5 knots.

A modern marvel, the majestic Athena is a refined combination of classic design and new technology, with an interior layout and exterior deck space to rival any power yacht in her class. And with a permanent professional crew of 17, Athena offers unparalleled service and attention for the most discerning charter guests.

For further details on Oasis, Athena or any other centrally listed YCO yachts, please contact Robert Shepherd in the YCO Charter Department for information, expert charter advice, ideas and tineraries for the Med this summer.
