Malls Employ the Latest in Smart Shopping Technology With Adspace Mall Network's 'Today's Top 10' List
Malls Employ the Latest in Smart Shopping Technology With Adspace Mall Network's 'Today's Top 10' List

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Adspace Networks, creators of the Adspace Mall Network, is launching a new program called "Today's Top 10" that will bring interactive bargain hunting to the traditional brick-and-mortar malls across the United States.

Run on Adspace's vast network of full-motion digital displays located throughout select malls, "Today's Top 10" gives mall retailers the opportunity to present and publicize their hottest deal each week. Retailers submit their best deals, including original prices and total savings. Adspace then determines the 10 best deals, produces a 10-second spot and runs it free of charge. There are typically 10 featured specials integrated into a six-minute loop of advertising content each week.

The Adspace Mall Network, will act as a resource to the smart shopper who is looking to quickly identify the best deals in the mall on any given day.

"Imagine, instead of dragging around clumsy newspaper inserts - you were able to get real-time information on the best deals throughout the mall from a central location," said William Ketcham, senior vice president of marketing and programming, Adspace Networks. "Shoppers can find an Adspace Mall Network 'Smart Screen' digital display in their local mall, watch it for the best deals being offered that day, and in just a few minutes be back shopping armed with knowledge that saves time and money."

Not only is this beneficial to local shoppers - but local retailers both inside and outside the mall can get in on the action by buying 15-second spots on the network. "The goal of the Adspace Mall Network is to offer the local business communities ways to effectively and dynamically communicate with mall shoppers," said L. Jeff Jensen, president, Adspace Network. "The demographics of the mall shopper are extremely desirable and attractive to local advertisers - meaning they are usually upscale clientele with a high purchase intent."

The Adspace Mall Network currently runs in 26 malls across the U.S. in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and the Washington, DC Metro area.
