Sun's JavaOne Tokyo event will take place next week in Tokyo. If James Gosling and other Sun executives are not travelling in Brazil, then they will most likely be at JavaOne Tokyo.

Sun traditionally schedules this event to make big announcements. There is a rumor in the industry that Sun may open source Java next week in Tokyo, but this is just a rumor and no one really knows it until the first day of the show.
