OpenLogic which offers enterprise open source support packages has released key milestone findings from its 2009 market accomplishments. It says it has accumulated more than 75% of new customer bookings from inbound leads in 2009, up from 50% in 2008. From its client pool, sixty per cent of which are Global 2000 companies, it saw adoption by both enterprises that use open source and enterprises that distribute products containing open source. While financial services and technology/telecommunications remained OpenLogic's top industries, it has identified government as the fastest growing sector for the opensource market. OpenLogic also witnessed strong growth in healthcare, manufacturing and media sectors. Now for the results of the popularity contest: Out of the more than 500 of its specific open source support offerings , OpenLogic's most sought after package was JBoss which usurped 2008's number one claimant and current number two TomCat's spot .
