Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

FullTilt Solutions Joins BEA Partner Program
Provides Seamless Integration of FullTilt with BEA WebLogic

FullTilt Solutions, a leading provider of Enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) software solutions, today announced that it has joined the growing list of companies in the BEA Systems Partner Program. FullTilt plans to integrate its product information management (PIM) software, Perfect Product Suite, with BEA WebLogic Application Server BEA products. This level of increased interoperability is designed to enable BEA customers to further streamline their FullTilt implementations and to help maximize the rich functionality available in BEA products.

Perfect Product Suite automatically aggregates product information from multiple enterprise databases and applications, standardizes it to help eliminate errors such as conflicting item definitions, and provides a powerful rules-based business process management system that keeps information up to date through intelligent workflow. Forrester Research recently recognized the product as the market's top PIM solution in its December 2004 Forrester Wave report. The analyst group specifically commended the product for its ease of use, flexibility, and scalability, as well as its ability to combine out-of-the-box functionality with customizability.

FullTilt's Perfect Product Suite is one example of an enterprise application that is designed to support the BEA "Think Liquid" vision. Think Liquid challenges IT professionals to move beyond the business silos and vertically integrated "software stacks" of old, to a new world order based on horizontally integrated "Service Networks" aimed at helping quickly deliver business, IT, personal and professional services in order to help improve enterprise productivity.

"BEA is a leader in the application infrastructure market that provides FullTilt the opportunity to reach out to a large global installed base of customers who are looking for a best-of-breed enterprise PIM solution to leverage and expand their investment in BEA products," said Tim Wallace, CEO, FullTilt Solutions. "We look forward to working with BEA and their customers and partners globally to offer a world-class joint solution."
