Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

NetSuite and InsideView Deliver First Social Intelligence Software
Built using NetSuite's SuiteCloud development platform

NetSuite Journal

InsideView announced InsideView for NetSuite, the first Social Intelligence application to bring social media to both CRM and ERP, optimizing core business processes that are essential to driving the success or failure of every business. InsideView for NetSuite now allows NetSuite users to have instant access to relevant intelligence harvested from emerging social media, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Jigsaw and NetProspex, as well as editorial sources, such as Thomson Reuters and Capital IQ (a Standard & Poor's Company), directly within NetSuite, empowering users to significantly improve business efficiencies across sales, marketing, billing, procurement, and HR operations.

InsideView for NetSuite was built using NetSuite's SuiteCloud development platform and is the first social intelligence application delivered natively within NetSuite. The new application expands the NetSuite-InsideView partnership beyond its original sales intelligence focus to deliver the power of social intelligence throughout both front-office sales and marketing and back-office financial operations. By leveraging the social intelligence delivered by InsideView directly within the NetSuite interface, businesses can gain new insights into their customers, prospects, employees and vendors to realize cross-enterprise productivity improvements.

"InsideView is an excellent example of how a partner can leverage SuiteCloud to optimize business processes across the company," said Guido Haarmans, vice president, SuiteCloud Developer Network of NetSuite. "The social intelligence delivered by InsideView provides the tools for companies to significantly increase sales productivity, and improve billing, procurement and recruiting efforts for our customers."

"Our expanded partnership with NetSuite underscores the increasing relevance of social data throughout business operations," said Umberto Milletti, founder and chief executive officer of InsideView. "NetSuite is leading the charge by making social intelligence available to its entire user base to drive significant business efficiencies."

InsideView is a member of NetSuite's SuiteCloud Developer Network, a multi-tiered program that enables Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to quickly go to market with on-demand business applications by building on NetSuite's SuiteCloud platform and leveraging the power of NetSuite's core business suite. For more information about the integrated solution, please visit www.suiteapp.com. InsideView for NetSuite is immediately available to all NetSuite customers as a native mash-up, including a free version, which delivers light contact and company research capabilities.
