Aduva Helps Companies Deploy Linux Across All IBM eServer Platforms
Flagship OnStage Life-Cycle Management Application To Be Showcased in the IBM Pavilion at LinuxWorld Expo

"This is excellent news for IBM customers who want to manage their mission-critical applications and make price/performance decisions incorporating the unique features of different hardware platforms to the optimal needs of enterprise applications," said Zev Laderman, CEO of Aduva (pictured below talking to SYS-CON.TV at Web Services Edge East 2005, Boston), as Aduva announced today that its OnStage product provides single console management of all IBM eServer brands: zSeries, xSeries, and OPEN POWER architectures of pSeries, iSeries, and BladeCenter JS20.

Aduva is increasingly widely known as the company that simplifies the "critical, but sometimes tedious" task of Linux server management.

“With OnStage, enterprises are able to simplify the management of applications across Linux platforms — to maximize price/performance and platform-specific benefits to realize the benefit of IBM’s ‘on-demand’ vision — they can align their business priorities and business systems with their computing power,” Laderman said.

As a result of this development, Laderman noted, IBM invited Aduva to showcase OnStage in the IBM Pavilion at LinuxWorld Expo next week in San Francisco, Calif.

In the Pavilion, attendees will be able to see Aduva simplify the deployment, configuration, and production support of IBM software including WebSphere, DB2, and Workplace software as well as open source, custom and other commercial software (e.g. Oracle) across all IBM eServer Linux platforms.

In short, the OnStage life-cycle management application provides single console management of all IBM eServer brands: zSeries, xSeries, and OPEN POWER architectures of pSeries, iSeries, and BladeCenter JS20.

Founded in 1999 and is backed by some of the most powerful companies behind Linux: Intel Capital, IBM, BMC Software and Evergreen Partners.
