Commentary Apple Slashing Prices on iPods
Major price cuts on iPods before 9/9/9 event

Today's the day. New stuff from Apple. Of course, as soon as we know what the new stuff is, I will blogging about it. We can argue whether we like it or not. But, before all that Apple has done something interesting: the prices on existing iPods have been lowered. Here are the prices as of just a few hours ago:
The one's that have caught my eye are the deep discounts on the iPod Touches, particularly the iPod Touch 32 Gb - $120 is more than 25% price cut. There are rumors that Apple is having supply problems. The current slashed prices are probably to appease customers until the new, and more expensive Touches hit the store shelves in a few weeks.
