Litle & Co. Expands Sales-Business Development Team
Company to Channel Growing Demand for Litle Payment Platform

LOWELL, Mass., August 4, 2009-Litle & Co., a leading payment processor and merchant services provider for card-not-present commerce, today announced several strategic new hires within its sales and business development organizations, all designed to channel growing demand for the company's payment management platform and merchant services suite.

Thomas Murphy has joined Litle & Co. as Vice President, Sales.  Murphy brings more than 20 years of business development and technology sales expertise to the role responsible for managing and executing the company's sales strategy as the company continues its rapid growth.  Prior to joining Litle & Co., Murphy was Vice President, Business Development for the BuyDomains division of NameMedia, where he set and led sales strategy, planning and business development.  Murphy previously served as Director, Sales for Yankee Group's WiFi and International Emerging Markets practice.  In addition, he spent several years at Lycos as Vice President, Business Development where he was instrumental in the development and launch of some of Lycos's hottest products including MP3 search, Image Gallery, Lycos Radio and others.  Murphy was also a key member of the team that led to the WebMD/Lycos partnership valued at more than $57 million.

Three key Directors within Litle & Co.'s business development organization, reporting to Marc Haskelson, Vice President, Business Development, were also announced today:

Ryan Friel has joined Litle & Co. from ARPU Inc., a data-enabled advertising network, where he served as business development director for sourcing relationships with online services and software partners.  Previously, Friel was a senior manager with AOL's Premium Services division.  Prior to AOL, he spent several years working abroad with telecom, software and technology companies as assistant director of Deutsche Telekom's international M&A team.  Friel will specialize in support of the Online Services (including dating, gaming, hosting, storage, security, downloadable content) and Non-Profit market segments.

Rob Lyons has joined Litle & Co. from Chase Paymentech.  A 20-year veteran there, Lyons managed a division that oversaw Global Strategic Alliances, Partnerships, Referral Process, more than 450 software/VAR relationships, as well as VAR certifications and management.  Lyons will spearhead Litle & Co.'s work in Emerging Market segments and lead strategic support across all market segments and partner areas.

Matt McDowell has joined Litle & Co. from CardinalCommerce, where he managed the company's merchant sales organization, as well as partner relationships with CyberSource, First Data, Chase Paymentech, PayPal, Amazon.com and GSI Commerce.  Previously, he'd been with SIRVA, Inc., a publicly-traded employee relocation services firm based in Chicago.  McDowell will specialize in the Internet Retail and Multichannel Retail market segments.

Commenting on the hires, Jason Pavona, EVP of Sales and Marketing, Litle & Co. said:  "Today's unprecedented economic environment finds more businesses competing for fewer consumer dollars.  Merchants are becoming more strategic and moving away from commoditized-thinking associated with payment processing.  They are moving toward the revenue producing and operationally efficient functionality provided by the Litle payment management platform and the merchant services that surround it.  We're thrilled to welcome this talent to help us channel growing merchant demand for the Litle & Co. payment platform."
